Objective:
1. To examine the psychological issues specific to each male dysfunction that affect the ongoing medical treatment of the man and/or couple.
2. To offer recommendations as to how these psychological issues can be identified and properly managed by the physician treating the patient.
3. To discuss the role of psychological intervention/counseling in the ongoing medical management of the sexual dysfunction.

Our last biennial World Congress, in Montreal, lived up to this tradition with more than 2100 delegates enjoying outstanding scientific and social programs. The Buenos Aires Congress promises to be an even more successful scientific meeting allowing you to discover the many advances in the field of Sexual Medicine, and providing a superb forum for sharing and exchanging scientific and clinical ideas since it will be gathering researchers and clinicians from many disciplines including Urologists, Andrologists, Endocrinologists Gynecologists, Psychologists and Psychiatrists, Sexologists, and Primary Care physicians.

The social program also promises to be spectacular and the full meeting is going to be marked by the impetus, class and sensuality of the Argentinean Tango which has inspired the logo of the Congress.

The International Society for Sexual and Impotence Research (ISSIR) has chosen the City of Buenos Aires to host its 11th World Congress on October 17th to 21st, 2004.

The International Scientific Committee is planning a very comprehensive scientific program that will cover most aspects of Sexual Medicine, with state-of-the-art lectures, roundtables, panel discussions, symposia and most importantly paper presentations. We are allocating a significant amount of time to both posters and podium presentations to warrant enough exposure to researchers. The program will also include for the first time, a set of motivating post graduate courses that will let the attendees explore new aspects in their practices in the field of basic research, sexological and surgical management.

The Industry is also committed to support our Meeting that will host a large exhibit area and many attractive opportunities to share their products and knowledge with the audience.

Buenos Aires offers an incomparable setting for this event. Our city is one of the most beautiful and attractive cities in Latin America for its stunning artistic and architectural richness.
